FULL TIME 4's PRESCHOOL PROGRAM

Overview
Our full-time 4's class provides an enriching and energetic environment for children to learn and grow. Our students prepare for kindergarten over the year with individualized attention from the teachers. Through teacher-directed small group activities, children practice following directions while working to develop fine motor skills and concept comprehension. In circle time, children participate in group discussions, music and movement, story time, and learning games. Class time also consists of a variety of child-directed activities. Our developmental program allows children to explore science, art, blocks, manipulatives, books, and dramatic play materials.

Social/emotional development is a central focus in our program. As children learn to share and communicate they are building the foundation for a lifetime of peer relationships. Children form close bonds with both friends and teachers. Our class is a warm and nurturing place where you can always find a smiling child.

The teacher to student ratio in our full-time 4’s program is 1:8

Children in our 4’s program must be 4 by November 1, and must be potty trained.

Tuition Rate 2012-2013

Children can be dropped off as early as 6:45am and picked up by 6pm. Monthly tuition is $1160.

Daily Schedule


6:45 – 8:30			Free play
8:30 – 9:15			Outside play (including table projects)
9:15 – 9:30			Circle
9:30 – 10:45			All centers open, teacher directed activities (art, writing centers, science, sensory, snack, etc.
10:45 – 11:00			Clean up
11:00 – 11:45			Outside play (including table projects)
11:45 – 1:00			Wash hands, lunch, book and puzzle time

1:00 – 2:15			Rest
2:15 – 2:30			Quiet book time, wake up
2:30 – 3:30			Outside time (including table projects)
3:30 – 3:45			Circle time
3:45 – 5:00			All centers open (art, writing, science, sensory, snack, etc.)
5:00 – 6:00			Outside time (including table projects)
6:00			School closed

Waiting List Information


	We begin our waiting list in September for the following year. As openings occur during the year we call families from the list to fill the open spots. Please call us at 408-245-2253 to be put on the waiting list.
