Overview
Our Pre-Kindergarten treats children as unique individuals and helps develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. Our hands-on approach allows each child to explore and develop through curriculum that uses literature, music, dramatic play, math, science, phonemic awareness, pre-reading skills, field trips, and cooking.

Our Pre-Kindergarten has 18 students and 2 teachers.

Children in our Pre-Kindergarten program must be 4 by August 1 of the school year.

Tuition Rate 2012-2013
 9am - noon, Monday through Friday $680/month
Class + full-time care = $1160/month
Hourly extended care also available.

8:45 - 9:00   Welcome and free play  
9:00 - 9:10   Gathering Circle  
9:10 - 10:30   Center Time: Teacher directed centers that include art,  
    cooking, science, math, phonemic development, pre-reading  
    skills, and writing  
    Free Choice: Art, dramatic play, games, puzzles, listening  
    center, woodworking, and manipulatives  
10:30 - 10:35   Clean up  
10:35 - 11:10   Circle Time: Class exploration and discussion of weekly  
    themes; children's literature; group learning of letters, letter  
    sounds, numbers, math, science; group activities that  
    include music, rhythm, games, and dramatic play.  
11:10 - 11:30   Snack and quiet book time  
11:30 - 11:55   Outdoor play  
11:55 - 12:00   Story, sharing, and closing circle
